Typically, the upper register gets increasingly flat the higher you go on such a deep cup. Not here. It stays in tune much easier than a traditional B cup.

With a medium-deep cup and a 3.75 mm throat diameter, the FENIX C allows for easy changes in timbre and dynamics.

This is our version of a cup shape that’s middle of the road. It offers easy access to the upper register while maintaining a full-bodied sound.

Perfect for playing in a variety of contexts, from jazz to classical ensembles, while maintaining control and tone color.

Full, powerful, and brilliant sound. Ideal for playing situations where you need your sound to project easily.

With a moderately high cup and 3.7 mm throat diameter, the FENIX D delivers a powerful sound that projects very well .

Perfect for those seeking power and endurance, even in outdoor performances or in big bands. It has almost a “double cup” kind of shape.

The start of the cup is very supportive of the upper register, which then tapers into a V-shape towards the throat, giving it a bit more volume - adding body to the sound.

Our rims are divided into three families:

1) S - Slim

2) M - Medium

3) W - Wide 

S - Slim FENIX Slim rims are compact models for agile control and immediate response. The slimmer the rim, the easier it is for the mussels and tissues to move. Very helpful for wide jumps, harmonic slurs and legato passages. The S model has a defined high point that helps with locking your lips setting and helps with clear note attacks. Lightweight and compact design, ideal for those seeking sensitivity and freedom of movement. Be careful if you tend to use a lot of pressure.

SR - Slim Round A slim rim with rounder edges, for players who want both agility and comfort. The slimmer the rim, the easier it is for the mussels and tissues to move. The rounder inner bite of the SR gives increased flexibility compared to the S. Very helpful for wide jumps, harmonic slurs and legato passages.

M - Medium The Medium rim is a balanced model for comfortable support, a natural feeling, while also contributing to a clear note attack. Perfect balance between stability and flexibility, designed for versatile performance.

MR - Medium Round A medium rim with a softer inner bite and less pronounced high point. Offers a less locked-in feel with great flexibility and comfort for long sessions. Perfect balance between stability and flexibility, designed for versatile performance.

MF - Medium Flat For those who prefer a more direct and precise feel. Helps with a crisper articulation and more surface contact, for players who are comfortable with a sharper bite towards the cup. Here you feel less of a single “point” of contact, and more of a ring of contact. The sharper also helps to “lock” the lips in place.

W - Wide Wide Rims offer stability and comfort for intense performances. Here you get a pillow for your lips that also allows for great movement and flexibility. The wide rims offer the most amount of support on the face but still with good amount of flexibility

WR - Wide Round A wide rim with the high point more centered with a big radius both going inside and outside the cup. Offers a lot of comfort and secure control. Very comfortable for players who push a lot.

WS - Wide Sloping This rim gently slopes in towards the center of the mouthpiece, while keeping a large contact area for the lips. Moves your lip tissue towards the center of the cup. Great for players who want the maximum support, and a rim shape that funnels your embochure towards the center. Encourages a “puckering” style embochure.
